Game of the Week/Spotlight: Clemson at Auburn (16)

Obviously I have personal bias for picking this game, but the Game Day Crew is at Auburn and the game is at 7:30 game under the lights so it’s a big game. Both teams are 2-0 but no one quite knows how good they are, this game will have a huge impact for the winner. Clemson has some very talented players on both sides of the ball, but have had trouble in the past with stopping running quarterbacks. Newton has already rushed for 241 yards and at 6’6” 260 lbs he is going to be a tough guy for the Tigers to take down.

NFL Prospects to watch:

Clemson:

S DeAndre McDaniel – First round talent at safety, he has great instincts, and can lay the wood.

DE Da’Quan Bowers – Former number one high school recruit in the country, Bowers has great size and strength, and is extremely quick off the ball.

OT Chris Hariston - The 6’7” 325 lbs. offensive tackle has the size and skill to be a great prospect

DT Jarvis Jenkins – One of the best defensive tackle prospects in the country he can get up the field and make plays in the backfield had 11 TFL last year.

Auburn:

OT Lee Ziemba - The 6’8” tackle had 67 knockdown blocks last year.

DT Mike Blanc – The big defensive tackle stuffed the middle and had 44 tackles 6.5 TFL and 3.5 sacks last year.

MLB Josh Bynes- Led the team with 104 tackles and also had 7 pass break ups.

The pick: Clemson +6.5
