NFL News of the Day - 10/11/10

The 49ers are 0-5.

The Patriots have traded a fourth-round pick for WR Deion Branch.

Rookie QB Colt McCoy will likely start this Sunday

WR Devin Thomas is now a Carolina Panther

Eagles DT Brodrick Bunkley tore a ligament in his elbow and is out indefinitely.

LT Marcus McNeill is back on the Chargers active roster.

Rams #1 WR Mark Clayton is out for the year.  Sam Bradford's 2nd #1 WR to go down this year.

Packers TE Jermichael Finley will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery.





49ers' QB Alex Smith played a miserable game, again, but is still the starter.
